(Multiplayer file) – Following is the full text of a Press Conference held by Minjee Lee to announce her participation in the 2019 Saudi Arabian Ladies International tournament.The press conference was held in sunny and warm Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on 19 June.Prior to starting the Q&A session, Ms. Minjee Lee is asked what makes her decision to be part of the Saudi Ladies Golf Cup for the third time next year. To this, she responded by saying: “It really means a lot to me and I am very honoured to be invited back to play in this tournament as well, so I am looking forward to it. The spirit of the tour and in all of the participating country is really amazing and I will have a wonderful time being a part of it.”She further added by saying, “Most of the ladies have an incredible amount of enthusiasm to have the cup here and I am sure it will be a positive thing for all the participants. There is no doubt there will be great interest from local and overseas golfers and we will all do our best to make it a success.”Minjee Lee: When asked about her plan for the summer, Ms. Lee said, “This is the most important time of the year for me as we have to make it back to Australia by September, but I am already enjoying summer as I am back to work following my recent couple of events.”Minjee Lee: When asked about her experience in Saudi Arabia, Ms. Lee replied by saying, “It is just been amazing to be part of this event.”Ms. Lee: She was asked about her plans for the upcoming season, Ms. Lee responded by saying, “My goal this year is to play as many rounds as possible on the Ladies European Tour and to get as many top 10s and try and crack into the top five.”Minjee Lee: She was then asked if she will be in America next season, she replied by saying, “Yes, I would love to play this year’s Crown Pences, but they have yet to announce their schedule and so, I cannot confirm anything yet.”Minjee Lee: As the last question of the press conference, she was asked about her favorite circuit, Ms. Lee replied by saying, “I really love playing on the women’s tours. All of them have a unique atmosphere and I like the way they play their golf.”Minjee Lee: Ms. Lee concluded by saying, “I look forward to playing next year’s Saudi Ladies International again and I will also be looking forward to playing at other courses in Saudi Arabia, most likely the Al Faisal National in Riyadh.
