15:09 – The Fixer: Blythwood Park park overgrown after flooding

A leak at the back of the Blythwood Park swimming pool caused by freezing temperatures and heavy rainfall in the last 24 hours has caused the water to flood nearby roads.

Blythwood Park released a statement on its website, stating, “The swimming pool was inspected this morning, however extensive damage was evident. Staff are currently assessing the situation and we will provide further details as and when possible.”

Elsewhere in public land, a fallen tree in Broughty Ferry has been blocking the road to a junction and firefighters have been working to remove it.

Road closures are in place between Brunswick Street and Cothill Road due to the accident between junctions 1 and 2 of the M25.

11:30 – The Fixer: No bus on the Chevin
